Aston University has completed the procurement of 1 x high-performance Machine Learning GPU server for the development of complex deep learning models. This server will make our research more competitive by allowing us to develop and investigate complex models using large volumes of data, bridging the gap between the small-scale prototypes that can be developed using high-specs desktop PCs and the much larger, cloud-based solutions that some mature projects may require.
