The primary purpose of this brief is to seek the services of a suitably experienced fish pass design engineer to carry out rapid on-site assessments of four barriers in the Rye catchment, undertaking design work and flow modelling at each site. These feasibility studies, rapid option appraisals and estimated costs for the preferred solutions will then be used to progress schemes, or to attract match funding for the Ryevitalise scheme, so that barriers can be addressed to improve fish passage (for all fish species)...
