Platoon Organic Fire Support -RFI

The British Army is seeking to enhance the capability of the Infantry Company, in order to reduce reliance on capabilities held at Battlegroup and above such as the 81mm Mortar. Currently, an Infantry Company can project effects (HE, Smoke and Illumination) to 350m (area effect) using the in-service Underslung Grenade Launchers held in each Platoon.
