Berry Hill Quarry has been developed for housing and over time some of the quarry faces have partially eroded resulting in some significant land slippages in close proximity to the curtilages of dwellings at the base of the quarry face. The open space land above the quarry face is predominantly in the Council's ownership and some areas of the quarry face itself are in the ownership of both the Council and deeds of the dwellings.
