Platinum Playground refurbishment

King George V playground in Appleby is the main children's play area in the centre of town and is well used by both local children and visitors. The majority of the current playground equipment is between 20-35 years old and is very tired looking and in a bad state of disrepair. In addition, some pieces of equipment are located under mature trees and both the equipment and surface are often very slippery and dangerous underfoot.
