The proposed digital and real-time PCR systems and two thermocyclers will be used within the Newcastle University Single Cell Functional Genomics Unit (NUSCU), a faculty wide facility based within the FMS, fulfilling a central role in single cell research as well as a wider role as a core facility platform.
