As part of The Uplands Development, a temporary pedestrian bridge is required adjacent Deer Park School to allow pupils safe access to the school, separated from construction traffic. The installation of the bridge was part of an enabling contract with Kier. The enabling works are complete. However the contract for the hire and periodic inspection of the bridge is being transferred to HCC until the end of the requirement.
