Egress Switch is a client that runs within Outlook to give the user the ability to send secure emails. Egress Switch is currently used by wider DfT and is the only solution that is recommended by the National Cyber Security Centre. The GSI computers have been removed, which were previously the only way for staff to send secure emails.
